Governor Bobby Jindal Announces the Appointment of Michael Horning to the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology

BATON ROUGE - Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced the appointment of Michael Horning to the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology.

The Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology serves to control and regulate the practice of cosmetology.

According to statute, the board is comprised of eight gubernatorial appointments, subject to senate confirmation. At least one member shall be appointed from each congressional district.

Michael Horning, of Franklinton, is the owner of Top of the Town Hair Salon. Horning will serve as an at-large member as required by statute.
